Preschool Program

Our weekday morning preschool program welcomes children ages 0–5 for a nurturing, play-based learning experience from 8:30 AM –12:00 PM.

  • 2-Day Program (Thursdays & Fridays – for younger classes)

  • 3-Day Program (Monday–Wednesday)

  • 5-Day Program (Monday–Friday)

Each class has specific goals focused on spiritual, academic, social, and motor development. We use the Letterland Curriculum for early literacy and The Village Church Kids’ Preschool Curriculum to guide our weekly Bible lessons.

Preschool FAQ's

Can we tour the program?

Yes! We offer tours by appointment. Call us at 910-754-2485 to schedule.

What are the potty-training requirements?

  • Babies (0–1 year): Diapers are welcome!

  • Toddlers: We start with diapers and transition to pull-ups as students progress.

  • Preschool (3+): Full potty training is required. While we help with accidents, hand washing, and reminders, students must be fully potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently, as our facilities do not support the use of pull-ups at this age. Students are given regular restroom breaks throughout the morning.

How is class placement decided?
We follow the public school cutoff of August 31 for age placement. This keeps students on track with their future Kindergarten class. Placement tests are available for children near the cutoff.

Is there availability for the 2025–26 school year?
Currently, we are on a waitlist. Openings often arise over the summer. To be added, complete our registration form and join the list!

Are sibling discounts offered?
Yes!

  • 25% off for the second sibling

  • 75% off for the third sibling

  • Families enrolled in the Homeschool Support Program may be eligible for a greater discount. Contact us for details.

How is tuition paid?
Monthly tuition is invoiced through our app. You can pay via card through the app, or bring cash/check to the office.

What are staff qualifications?
Our full staff team has passed background checks are CPR/AED/First Aid certified. All classrooms have a lead teacher and an assistant. All staff participate in professional development throughout the year. Our teachers have experience or a background in education.

How do I communicate with my child’s teacher?
We use a parent communication app for daily updates, photos, and messaging. Administrators are also available via phone or email. During student pick up, parents have the opportunity to speak with their child's teacher.

What if someone else needs to pick up my child?
You can authorize pickups through our app. Each approved adult receives a unique PIN for secure sign-out. You can update permissions at any time.

Do you offer full-time care?
Not at this time. Our programs are mornings only, with the exception of two weeks of full-day Summer Camp.

Is extended care available?

Yes! Morning care is offered from 7:30–8:30 AM for an additional fee . You can select this option during registration.

Do you use technology in the classroom?

Since our time together is limited, we prioritize making each student's experience as hands-on and interactive as possible. We use learning and movement-based videos selectively, but we do not incorporate additional technology or personal devices into our instruction.

How do you support neurodivergent learners?
We strive to accommodate every child’s unique learning style. We partner with local service providers (like speech therapy) and maintain open communication with families. In some cases, we may suggest outside evaluations or services that go beyond our program's scope.

Can differently-abled children enroll?
Absolutely! We welcome students of all abilities. Depending on needs, we may suggest additional support such as a one-on-one aide, or—when appropriate—recommend a program better suited to your child. We believe in celebrating the diversity of God’s Kingdom.
