Homeschool Support

We support homeschooling families with academic instruction, social enrichment, and meaningful experiences that complement home education. Families can choose the days that best fit their needs. While Mondays follow the Classical Conversations curriculum, participation on Tuesday through Friday is open to all—no specific curriculum required. We’re here to support whatever you use at home.

Monday | Classical Conversations Community Day | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Families gather for weekly content introduction and community time. Parent attendance and participation in the Classical Conversations curriculum is required.

Tuesday & Thursday | Phonics, Writing, & Math | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Using hands-on tools and curricula like Letterland, Handwriting Without Tears, and Recipe for Reading, students build core academic skills aligned with NC Standards. While enrollment in both days is not required, we encourage it for consistent academic growth—especially since many homeschool curricula do not cover all foundational skills in these areas.

Wednesday | Field Trips & Special Events | 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Each month includes a themed field trip. Other weeks involve on-campus activities, special guests, and seasonal celebrations featuring STEM and literacy-based fun.

Friday | Enrichment Classes | 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Students explore special interests through rotating classes such as Fiber Arts, Gardening, Music, and coming soon—American Sign Language and Art!

Homeschool Support FAQs

We are not a school—we’re a half-day support program designed to come alongside homeschooling families. Our goal is to supplement, not replace, the curriculum you’re already using at home. We offer academic instruction in phonics, writing, math, and more, along with enrichment and community to enhance your homeschool journey.

What ages or grades are eligible?
Our academic classes are designed for students in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade, with some enrichment opportunities open to a broader age range. We also host Community Days with Classical Conversations for families who are part of that program.

Do I have to be enrolled in the Preschool Program to participate in the Homeschool Program?

No, enrollment in our Preschool Program is not required to participate in the Homeschool Support Program. However, families with younger siblings enrolled in the Preschool Program receive a substantial discount on Homeschool Support tuition.

What curriculum do you use?
Our Homeschool Support Program for Kindergarten through 3rd grade uses a combination of trusted, research-based resources. Students learn through Letterland, Handwriting Without Tears, Recipe for Reading, and materials from The Measured Mom, along with a variety of manipulatives and hands-on activities. Our curriculum is carefully designed to help students meet North Carolina Standards and Objectives while keeping learning engaging and developmentally appropriate.

Will you assign grades or assessments?
We provide feedback and progress monitoring but do not issue formal grades. Our goal is to support mastery and confidence in core academic areas. Families are encouraged to integrate what we teach into their broader homeschool portfolios.

Is this a drop-off program?

On Mondays and Wednesdays, parents stay and participate alongside their students. About once a month, parent participation is required for off-campus activities. On all other days, students are dropped off and cared for by our trained staff. We use a secure check-in/out system through our app and maintain regular communication with families.

What about socialization?
We intentionally build in opportunities for students to connect, play, and work together in group settings. From recess and group projects to field trips and special events, we create a strong sense of community for both students and parents.

Do you offer any enrichment classes?
Yes! We offer rotating enrichment classes that may include art, music, and more. These are built into the Homeschool Support schedule on Fridays and provide creative outlets for student learning.

Is there a sibling discount if I have children in both Preschool and Homeschool Support?
Yes! Families with students enrolled in both programs may qualify for an increased sibling discount. Contact us for details based on your family’s setup.

Can my child join mid-year?
Enrollment mid-year is possible depending on space and class dynamics. We encourage families to reach out for availability and to schedule a consultation to determine placement.
